Congratulation to Rory who won a silver medal in the boys kumite event and to Sophie who won a silver medal in the para kata event at the Scottish International Open Grand Prix on Sunday 3rd June at Ravenscraig. Well done to all members who took part in this event.

Congratulations to the children from Oaklands School who have passed their first karate grading with Dalry Karate Group. Instructors Andrew and Louise Elliott have significant experience of teaching karate to children with disabilities and additional support needs. The children have been working very hard and were all delighted to receive the grade of junior yellow belt.

Congratulations to Sophie Jones who won a Gold Medal and Kyle Schuller won won a Bronze Medal in their respective Para Kata events, while representing the Scotland National Karate Team at the British Grand Slam event in Penrith. Whilst at the event they also took part in a BKF Performance Training Camp with the British Para Karate Coach.

Congratulations to Sophie Jones and Kyle Schuller who have been selected to represent the Scotland National Karate team at the British Grand Slam in the Para Kata events. The event will be held on the 22nd of January 2023 in Penrith.
Azami Karate Group has just received confirmation that we have secured a new training venue for our Thursdays karate classes at the new Winchburgh Sport and Wellbeing Hub, starting from Thursday 6th October 2022.
The new class times for kids are 5+ will be:
Class 1: Thursdays 5.45pm-6.35pm.
Class 2: Thursdays 6.35pm-7.25pm.


Congratulations to all the members who took part in the Dumfries Wado-Kai Grassroots Club Championships.
The event consisted of Kata, Kickmaster, and Fighting. Well done to all who took part.
