Dumfries Wado-Kai Karate Club teaches traditional style Wado-Ryu karate by Instructors Allan McKean 3rd Dan and David Murray 2nd Dan.
Dumfries Wado-Kai are also one of very few clubs accredited by Dumfries and Galloway Council and the Scottish Sports Council to teach at schools and participate in the active school’s program.
The club often welcomes others to attend and provide instruction in their styles also, such as Judo and Aikido.
The club welcomes all ages from five years onward. The emphasis is for the young to have fun and the older ones to push themselves for greater fitness and improvement of technique.
