Andy Elliott was awarded the rank of 6th Dan on Sunday 27th March 2022. Andy is pictured receiving his certificate from Peter Rogers 7th Dan after the technical assessment on the full Wado-Kai Syllabus. The chief examiner was Colin Clapperton – Wado-Kai.

Shuzoku Wado-Kai Association would like to thank Allan Miller for leading a Kali Stick and Pad Work seminar on Sunday 5th December 2021. Thanks also to JKS Scotland for hosting the event at the Honbu Dojo in Dunfermline.
It was great to get another perspective from different martial arts.

Great effort from everyone attending the Shuzoku Wado-Kai Senior Grade Course today, focusing on the 2021-2022 Dan Grade Syllabus.

A minute’s silence was held at the start of the course in memory of Bobby Morton, who sadly passed away and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Lisa Scott was awarded the rank of 6th Dan after a result of a technical assessment earlier in the week covering the full Wado-Kai Syllabus. A big thank you to our guest Colin Clapperton 8th Dan Wado-Kai for leading today’s course. Colin acts as a technical advisor and will be our chief examiner at the forthcoming Dan Gradings.


Over 50 members attended Shuzoku Wado-Kai’s first fighting course. The kids took part in a kickmaster competition, their first competition post lockdown. Well done to all the medal and trophy winners.
