Lisa Scott 5th Dan is the Scottish Wado Association’s Interim Secretary, Webmaster & Covid-19 Officer. She is a SKGB Level 3 Qualified Instructor.

Lisa started karate in 1990 and was a founding member of Azami Karate Group (Broxburn Karate Club) at 7 years old.

Lisa gained the grade 5th Dan at age 30, making her one of the youngest to achieve this senior rank in Scotland.

Lisa represented the Scottish National Karate Squad at 5 European Championships, 2 World Championships, and 2 Commonwealth Karate Games.

Individual titles included Scottish Open Weight Champion, Scottish International Open Champion and Irish International Open Champion. She has also achievd 5th place in the European Senior All-Styles in Moscow (2004), 2 x Individual Silver (Open and -53kg) and 6 x Bronze medals at European Wado-Kai Cup and a Silver at the British Championships. I have been Scottish, Scottish Open, Irish Open, British, European Wado and Commonwealth Team Champion.

Lisa won 4 Blue Awards from Heriot-Watt University including the Neil Campbell Quaich for achievements in Karate.
