Congratulations to Sophie, Lisa and Andrew who were selected to represent the Scotland Wado-Kai Karate Team at the 50th Federation of European Wado-Kai Karate Championships in Lignano Sabiadorro, Italy from 17th-19th October 2025. Sophie won the Gold Medal in the Female Para Kata event. Overall Scotland was placed 2nd in the medal table.

Congratulations to Andy and Sophie who were shortlisted for the Lothian Disability Sport Coach of the year and Sports Person of the year awards respectively.
This year Sophie has won the British Karate Championships, medalled at both the Karate Scotland International Open and British Karate International Open, and has been selected to represent the Scotland Wado Kai karate team at the forthcoming Federation of European Wado-Kai Karate Championships in Italy for Para Karate.
Andy is the Scotland National Para Karate Coach, Disability Coach for Shuzoku Wado-Kai Association, Senior Instructor of Dalry Karate Group and an active schools Coach in Edinburgh.

We are delighted to announce a Kali Stick/Pad Work Seminar with Allan Miller to be held at Xcite Broxburn Sports Centre, Church Street, Broxburn, West Lothian, EH52 5EL from 1pm-4pm on Saturday 11th October 2025.
The course is suitable for teenagers and adults. Cost will be £20. This is a fundraising event. Allan is kindly donating his time with all proceeds going to Shuzoku Wado-Kai Association funds.
